Who we are

This policy covers wordpowerchurch.org, operated by WORD POWER CHURCH in Kitengela, Kajiado County, Kenya. It explains what personal information we collect through this site, why, and what rights you have over it.

Information we collect

We only collect what you choose to submit through our forms:

• Contact form: your name, email address, and message.
• Partnership form: your name, email, phone number, and — only if you choose to provide them — your mailing address, emergency contact, giving preferences, areas of ministry interest, and your story.

Cookies & analytics

By default, this site sets no cookies at all. When you first visit, a banner asks whether we can turn on site analytics — your choice there is remembered in your browser's local storage, not a cookie, and nothing below runs unless you say yes.

If you accept, we load Google Analytics to see which pages are visited and roughly how many people visit — never your name, email, or anything from our forms. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and processes IP addresses with anonymization enabled. If you decline, none of this loads, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's site data for wordpowerchurch.org.

How we use it

Form submissions are emailed directly to our team so we can respond to your message or follow up on your partnership application. We don't use this information for any other purpose, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.

Sharing

We use Resend, an email-delivery provider, solely to deliver form submissions from this site to our inbox. If you've accepted analytics, Google Analytics processes anonymized traffic data as described above. We don't share your information with any other third party, except where required by law.

Retention

Submissions aren't stored in a database on this site — they go straight to email. We keep that email for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain a record of the conversation, and delete it when it's no longer needed.

Your rights

Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request that we correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of these, contact us at info@wordpowerchurch.org.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and our forms include automated safeguards against spam and abuse. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
